Passenger vehicle sales up 20% in Q1
Passenger vehicle sales rose 20.41% year-on-year to 1.85 million in the first quarter of the year, the China Securities Journal reported, citing China Association of Automobile Manufacturers figures. 1.3742 million sedans were sold, up 22.52% year-on-year; 553,000 multipurpose vehicles, up 3.86% year-on-year; 101,800 SUVs, up 42.11% year-on-year; and 319,800 crossovers, up 9.99% year-on-year.
