PDF Solutions opens its office in Shanghai, China on July 24 to serve local customers, said the company in a statement. The new office, the company's first one in China, will open with a staff of 23 engineers who will assist in providing services to the country's integrated device manufacturers (IDMs) and foundries engaged with PDF Solutions on yield ramp improvements.   "Initially, the purpose of this office is to be the Center of Excellence for analysis of data from our proprietary Characterization Vehicle(R) test chips.
