Pepsi brings Gatorade to China
Five years after it brought the world's leading sports drink under its corporate umbrella, Pepsi is bringing Gatorade to China, the Beijing Times reports. The brand will appear first in twenty urban areas around the country, including the Beijing-Tianjin metropolitan area. Pepsi conducted trial marketing of the brand in Chongqing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Qingdao last year. According to Liang Jingcheng, vice-director of beverage marketing for Pepsi's China region, the product beat out its chief rival - Robust's MiZone - in these markets.Link: http://bjt.net.cn/news.asp?newsid=140397
