Central government owned enterprises on Thursday signed 46 projects valued at ¥109 billion ($1 = ¥6.83) across western China's Sichuan province to sponsor its rebuilding efforts. This was the largest package of investments in the province over the past six decades. Eighteen cities or counties, including the quake-hit Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Leshan and Aba, will host the projects related to energy, chemicals, aviation, electronics, biotech, materials, textile, and agriculture.
