Search ads to be worth US$1.4b in China by 2011
Online search-related ads will earn Chinese search engines US$1.39 billion (RMB10 billion) in revenues by 2011, pushing China ahead of Japan as the world’s third most lucrative search market, the Oriental Morning Post reported. iResearch, a consultancy headquartered in Shanghai, also predicted revenues from search-related advertising would climb 76% this year from US$403.25 million (RMB2.9 billion) ...
