Shanghai GDP expands 13.5% to US$166b

Shanghai mayor Han Zheng told the opening session of the 13th Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress Thursday that he expected the city’s gross domestic product (GDP) to amount to US$166 billion (RMB1.2 trillion) in 2007, up 13.5% on the year before, the China Securities Journal reported.
