Shanghai Industrial Holdings denies selling off Bright stock
Shanghai Industrial Holdings told the press that it had no current plans to divest itself of its 30.78% stake in Bright Dairy, The Beijing News reports. The Bright board maintained silence on the issue. An authoritative source close to the policy makers of Shanghai Industrial Holdings confirmed that the company had no plans to sell off Bright stock, and further stated that there was no chance of a sale within 2 to 3 years. The source would not rule out the possibility of letting a portion of the stock go should Bright's share reform package render it unavoidable. Bright stock fell 4.56%.
