Shanghai to build on-sea wind power plant

Shanghai would construct on-sea wind power plant next to the city’s Donghai Bridge to generate electricity for the city, which would be the first project among others that would be launched in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shangdong and other coastal provinces. This signifies another Chinese initiative to head to renewable energy and take advantage of the potential wind power in the country’s coastal area that has yet to be exploited.
