Siemens AG said its power generation division will provide two coal-fired power plants in China with instrumentation and controls (I&C) systems, Forbes reported. Siemens said in a statement that it will provide a new I&C system for the Waigaoqiao 3 plant located near Shanghai, owned by the Power Generation Co Ltd. Another I&C system will be installed in the Daihai power plan in Inner Monglolia, owned by the Inner Mongolia Daihai Power Generation Co Ltd. Commissioning at both plants is scheduled for late 2007, Siemens said.
