South-western Yuzhou district an east coast magnet

At least 92 enterprises from the east coast of China have now set up in Yuzhou district, in south-western Guangxi province, resulting in US$812.42 million (RMB6.15 billion) invested in the local economy, China Economy reported. Of the total investment, US$644.65 million (RMB4.88 billion) is already in place. One of these east coast arrivals, Yulinjiaobao Daily Necessities Co, generated US$6.08 million (RMB46 million) in output last year and paid US$369,881 (RMB2.8 million) in taxes.
