Suning eyes Shanghai expansion
Nanjing-based Suning Appliance Co is planning to shift its focus to bigger stores in Shanghai over the next three to five years to take advantage of rising consumption, the 21st Century Business Herald reported. Ling Guosheng, the vice president of Suning Appliance, said the group will diversify by selling home-improvement products, interior auto decorations, and sports equipment. One of the four stores, due to open later this month, will take up 10,000 square meters in the Xujiahui commercial center.
