China’s Sun media Investment said that it has acquired US’s Entertainment Today, Forbes reports.   As China’s second largest privately owned media company, Sun Media has bought 100% ownership of the paper, and will take over its operation later this month.   “The acquisition helps to strengthen Sun Media's growing library of international content as well as enhance its global media distribution backbone,” Forbes cited the statement. Entertainment Today is headquartered in Los Angeles and has a circulation of between 50,000 and 100,000, according to 2004 statistics.
