Tecent accused of infringement over Seven Swords
Tecent has been accused of intellectual property infringement over its online broadcast of the movie Seven Swords, China Business News reports. Beijing Ciwen Film and Television Production requested compensation and an apology from Tecent, which it said had broadcast the film on its QQ Live service over the Spring Festival. Ciwen's lawyer said that this was the first case of online TV rights infringement on the mainland.
