Textile Export Rebate to be Hiked to 17%

China will raise its export rebate on textile goods to 17% from 15% in the coming days to help small and medium businesses fix financing problems, an inside source has disclosed. The Chinese government will also offer financial support for technical innovation and major textile firms. Experts say a percentage point increase in the rebate would lead to ¥5.7 billion in profit for the industry.
