Tian Yue and EA announced Tuesday that Pogo, EA’s first branded online offering, will be in open beta this summer. This is the first step of the strategic alliance between the two and more online games would be bought to China in the future.   “We are honored to launch Pogo in China with EA and bring world-class game experiences to Chinese gamers," says Yang Jing, Chairman & CEO of Tian Yue. "Pogo in China is a starting point for us to introduce the world-class online game experience to China and drive innovation of the Chinese interactive entertainment industry.” According to Erick Hachenburg, EA's Senior Vice President of Global Online Publishing & Managing Director of EA China, the EA China studio has done a lot of customization and localization and much of the content is tailor-made especially for the Chinese market so gamers can find many familiar Chinese elements and flavor that makes their gaming experience more fun.
