Timberland comes to China
Timberland, the world's largest brand of waterproof boots, will enter China's casual clothing and shoe retail market, China Business News reports. Senior vice-president Michael Harrison said that the company would expand into Shanghai and Guangzhou markets from its current locations in Shenzhen, Beijing, and Harbin, where it has set up specialty outlets. Guan Jingwen, head of the greater China region for Timberland, said that the company would open 15 specialty stores this year, with the number of China locations growing to 70 over the next five years.Link: http://dycj.ynet.com/article.jsp?oid=8034452
