Total's fueling stations to reach 500
Total Oil, the world's fourth largest oil company, will increase the number of fueling stations it operates in China to 500 within the next five years, China Business News reports. Total's representative in China said that the 500 stations would be placed under Total's east China and north China oil sales networks. Total becomes the third international oil company, after BP and Shell, to propose a plan to bring its fueling stations above 500 locations in China. BP's joint ventures with PetroChina and Sinopec each have plans to build 500 stations, in Guangdong and Zhejiang Provinces, and Shell has invested in a 1.551 billion yuan joint venture with Sinopec to build 500 stations in Jiangsu. In 2004, Total signed a 900 million yuan partnership agreement with Sinochem to build 200 stations throughout Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and Liaoning over the subsequent seven years.Link: http://dycj.ynet.com/article.jsp?oid=7788193
