Unicom adjusts phone card balance details
Following moves by China Netcom and China Mobile to clarify details concerning balance transfer on phone cards, Beijing Unicom yesterday revealed its own plan to resolve an issue that has gotten consumers upset, the Beijing Times reports. According to the plan, all cards issued by Beijing Unicom now have balance transfer enabled, allowing users to accumulate remaining balances from several cards onto a single card, up to a maximum of 9999 yuan. The cards affected include not only prepaid mobile phone cards, but also wireless access cards, long distance calling cards, dialup Internet cards, and discount IP long distance cards.Link: http://bjt.net.cn/news.asp?newsid=140809
