The Ministry of Commerce announced yesterday that according to statistics from 271 used car dealerships in 31 provinces, the market for used cars in 2005 was reached 1.4502 million vehicles. This is a 9.22% increase from 2004, and is roughly 1/3 of the total volume of new cars that were sold, the Beijing Times reports.
