Vehicles sales up 62% for Brilliance China Auto
Brilliance China Automotive Holding Ltd., a Chinese partner of BMW, sold 92200 vehicles unit in the first half of 2006, which is a 62.11% year-on-year growth, Forbes reported, citing figures released by the company.
The automaker said in a statement that revenue for the period rose 34.5 pct from a year earlier to 13.6 bln yuan, Forbes wrote. Apart from its joint venture with BMW, the Chinese automaker also produces vehicles using its own brands, including Zhonghua sedans and Jinbei minibuses.
