Watson's Wine Cellar has received approval from the Ministry of Commerce to form a mainland arm of the company, National Business Daily reports. The brand name first entered the mainland in the form of boutiques opened inside Watson's retail arm, Park'n Shop, in 2004. The establishment of Watson's Wine Cellar (Guangzhou) will permit the company to run freestanding sales outlets for the top-tier international liquor brands it carries.
