Yeepay.com, a leading Chinese intermediary payment service provider, is processing ¥2 billion ($1 = ¥6.7) worth of transactions everyday and will shift its focus to mobile billing in the next two to three years, CEO Tang Bin said Thursday. "Mobile billing currently accounts for 10% of our turnover," said Tang. "We will seek partnerships with the top three telecommunications companies and some cellphone makers to boost that percentage." Tang declined to reveal how they will share the benefits. Yeepay was founded in August 2003 and offers billing services for digital entertainment, air travel and tourism, telecommunications bills, exam registration fees and insurance claims.
