Dangdang made its name selling books and music online. As the book market became less lucrative, however, it expanded its offerings, launching an online store for all sorts of consumer goods in addition to its core business. As China's largest business to consumer website, more than 50% of Dangdang's sales in the past few months have been neither books nor music, reports National Business Daily. But Dangdang is continuing to expand in a C2C direction, challenging industry leaders Taobao and eBay.
